About The Role
Training Specialist is an expert in designing engaging, high impact learning experiences for school stakeholders to ensure that content is utilized effectively in the classroom. As well, they continuously train the field team to ensure they are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
Training and resource materials’ design
- Design implementation and instructional strategies that support effective utilization and adoption of the Alef platform and content including pacing guides, frameworks, and professional development resources
- Create and implement Professional Development plans for field implementation and staff trainings.
- Create engaging and impactful trainings to support Face-to-Face, blended, or online delivery.
Field team training and enablement
- Support teacher training events such as professional learning communities and conferences
- Train and coach the field team to ensure effective implementation of the trainings
- Support the field teams during teacher training events
- Maintain multiple communication channels with the field to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing
Data and Research Analysis
- Monitor and research, analyze, use data, and make strategic decisions to improve learning
- Monitor content usage trends and offer targeted consulting solutions to support gaps in usage
- Continuously monitor research and practices in the ed tech space to ensure PD solutions are best in class
To Be The Right Fit, You'll Need
- An Education Degree
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- 10+ years relevant experience in teaching, developing teacher training material, and training teachers.
- Familiarity with current education legislation and issues and the implications for implementation
- Experience teaching in the classroom or experience working directly with teachers and understanding the challenges of implementing technology in the classroom
- Ability to design attractive resources to support teachers
- Strong background hosting virtual training events or webinars to support the in-school team
- Ability to develop teacher training material.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
